Our Top 10 Picks from the 2018 Exhibition Stand Season

Our Top 10 Picks from the 2018 Exhibition Stand Season

First on our list is this gigantic linked pop up stand that we manufactured for Mark Hill Hair. Everything from the scale, the gradient-style graphic design and the unique way the display is configured makes this a firm favourite of the 2018 exhibition stand season here at XL Displays.
The great thing about linked pop up display stands is that they are completely reconfigurable. This means that elements can be added or taken away effortlessly. This enables you to adapt your stand to each event you go to, therefore saving you money and allowing you to reuse your display time and time again.

Another favourite of ours is this linked pop up stand for Haymarket Media. This display made the cut as a result of the ingeniously fun and bright graphic design. There are so many colours on this stand, but because so much thought has gone into the design, none of them clash.

Next up is this Twist banner stand we manufactured for She Software. Here at XL, we are big fans of Twist banners because they offer so much versatility at a budget-friendly price point. This particular Twist was so big – both in size and impact – that we had to include it on our list.

Twist banners are patented. This is because they are the only banner stand to remain aligned, even on an uneven surface. This means you don’t have to worry about creases or joins in your graphics – regardless of the floor you are exhibiting on. In addition, Twist banners are similar to linked pop up stands in the sense that they are reconfigurable. You can add and take away banners easily as and when you need to, making Twist perfect for businesses on the move.

We couldn’t have a top 10 and leave out this fabric display for Unilever. It’s not often that we see fabric arches, let alone used this well and to this standard. The arch brings every other element of the exhibition stand together, creating a unified and inviting display.
Fabric exhibition stands offer so many unique incentives. They are printed using extreme heat and pressure through a dye-sublimation printing process. This allows the ink to fuse with the fabric to create a photo-quality finish that won’t crack, peel or fade. You can wash your display and incur no damage, making fabric ideal for businesses who exhibit a lot and need a display that can keep up.

This Formulate Curve fabric display is one of our favourite fabric displays of the year. Aside from the stunning photography, the quality of the print came out exceptionally sharp and detailed, meaning it had to be included on this list.

We manufacture thousands of roller banners each year. They may not be the biggest exhibition display tool, but they can definitely pack a punch just like these ones for New College Stamford demonstrate. Fun, bright, portable, lightweight, colourful and eye-catching – these banners are the perfect exhibition solution.

Yellow is a bold colour to use on an exhibition stand because it is so bright and eye-catching. This often scares people away from using it – especially on such a large scale. Despite this, Resulting IT dared to be brave and embraced the yellow on their linked pop up display stand. The end result was far from garish; it was beautiful and proved that with a little bit of imagination and good taste, you can make anything work.

Next up we have this Twist banner stand trio that we manufactured for Alderstone. Like with Resulting IT, Alderstone broke the mould and opted for a bright lime-yellow background. The design was complemented by the dark grey accents and ended up looking so sleek and professional that we just had to include it here.

We love a good gradient background and that’s why we’ve included this linked pop up display stand from Edit Agency on our list. The colours flow effortlessly and the text is kept to minimum, whilst there is still a focus on the big brands they have worked with. Subtlety is sometimes key, and in this instance it worked a treat.

Last but not least on our list is this fabric display stand for Freedom Edits. Crystal clear photography, true-to-life colours and exceptional detail are qualities that this stand had plenty of, and this exactly why we’ve included it. There is no better way to promote a photography agency than with a stunning picture, and the dye-sublimation printing process ensured that not one ounce of quality was lost on this exhibition stand.

We have seen so many fabulous exhibition stands come through our production room this year and it was a tricky task to whittle it down to just 10. Each stand brings its own individuality and unique qualities, and not a single one is bad. We chose these 10 to demonstrate how each display solution can look, regardless of size or price point.

That being said, we couldn’t end this article without showing off this huge 3m tall, 24m wide jumbo linked pop up stand that we manufactured for Celtic Vapours. The sheer size of the exhibition stand is demanding enough, but the graphics are equally as high on impact. It’s one of the largest displays we’ve made and it was great to see something so large look so sleek.
